What is CANstruction?
CANstruction is an international nonprofit organization that holds annual design-build competitions across the U.S. to construct fantastic, giant sized, structures made out of canned food. City wide competitions happen all over the world to help raise awareness of food insecurity and provide resources to local food banks.
In Dallas, design and AEC industry professionals create CAN ART® that displays at NorthPark Center. At the close of the competition, all of the food used to create the structures and the money raised in the People's Choice voting are donated to North Texas Food Bank.
2025 will mark Dallas' 29th Local Competiton, as we continue to partner with North Texas Food Bank in their fight against hunger in North Texas.
